Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the decision of Solomianka district court to arrest suspended Head of State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov for two months with the alternative to post $3.7 million bail. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

The according decision was adopted by the panel of judges today.

The court earlier arrested Nasirov for 60 days with the right to post $3.7 million bail. Nasirov is in Lukyanivska Prison now. He also appealed against court decision.

As it is known, the head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is suspected in abuse of authority and embezzlement of public funds totaling some $74 million. Investigation considers that Nasirov, acting in the interests of MP Onyshchenko, groundlessly provided tax obligations by installments for a number of enterprises in terms of "gas case".
