In particular, these are Part 2 of Article 332 (illegal movement of persons across the state border of Ukraine committed by a group of persons upon their prior conspiracy), Part 2 of Article 345 (Willful battery of, or infliction of minor or medium grave bodily injury on a law enforcement officer or his close relatives, in connection with his/her official duties), and Article 293 (Riots).

Based on the submitted proof, the court put the man under guard for 60 days.

As it was reported earlier, the former Georgian leader illegally crossed the Ukrainian border via Shegyni checkpoint, breaking the law due to incorrect completion of border crossing procedure. The crowd of at least 60 people, including five MPs, literally carried Saakashvili beyond the checkpoint, getting into a fight with law enforcers. A few law enforcers were injured after Saakashvili's fans break through the border. The police and the state security service investigate the incident.
