Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law regarding pension reform during the meeting on Wednesday, broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"I have a proposal to adopt this law. Send it to the Reform Council for the fastest consideration. We will work with Ukrainian parliament to receive support for this law," Prime Minister said.

The decision was taken unanimously.

The document will now be sent for discussion to Reform Council, and to the parliament afterwards.

The bill provides for the increase of pensionable service period to 25 years among other things, as well as bringing pension payments up to date. Prime Minister proposed to increase them sooner, from October 1, while it was earlier planned to implement the decision on December 1.
