British Ambassador to Ukraine commended Equality March

Judith Gough, British Ambassador to Ukraine, who took part in Equality March, noted the festive atmosphere during the event and thanked law enforcement officers for ensuring security of march participants. She wrote it on Twitter.

"Sunny and well organised Kyiv Pride 2017. Another step forward for equality in Ukraine," she wrote. 

In another message Judith Gough told that there was "fine party atmosphere at Kyiv Pride 2017 thanks to law enforcement agencies and authorities for providing security".

7 detainees were reported according to the latest information. Several clashes between march opponents and police occurred. 

National Police

Head of National Police in Kyiv informed that 2 police officers received minor injuries. At the same time, march participants were not hurt, UNN reports.
