America promises not to recognize Crimea as Russia, - Yelchenko

The USA-Ukraine relations will not harm the latter

Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko reported that the new U.S. Administration will not recognize Crimea as part of Russia. This was stated by the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, according to Yelchenko.

“She (Haley) confirmed the most basic things concerning the politics of the USA on Ukraine, - America supports our territorial integrity,” Ukrainian diplomat said.

Besides, Ms. Haley assured him that America-Ukraine relations will not harm the latter.

Earlier it was reported that according to the CIA archives, America prepared anti-Soviets operations in Ukraine. Declassified Central Intelligence Agency’s report contains analysis of possibility of armed resistance to Soviet rule in USSR.
