59th Russian humanitarian convoy on the way to Ukraine

More than 40 vehicles went to Donbas through the territory uncontrolled by the Ukrainian border guards in violation of international law. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

The trucks allegedly carry over 400 tons of freight. The humanitarian aid mainly consists of food, medical supplies, Christmas gifts and necessities, according to Russian Emergency Ministry.

Before arriving at the frontier, the column will be divided into two parts. One of them will go through “Donetsk” border crossing checkpoint and the other - through "Matveev Kurgan".

This time it is also reported that there are doctors and technical personnel who allegedly came to provide timely assistance for drivers and staff accompanying the goods.

Earlier it was reported that 58th Humanitarian convoy from Russia came on November 26, 2016. Russian Emergency Ministry stated that all the border checks were performed in the presence of the representatives of the Custom Service and Border Service of Ukraine.
