505 residential areas in five regions of Ukraine remain without electricity as of 7 p.m. due to adverse weather conditions. This was reported by the press service of State Emergency Service.

In particular, 287 population centers are still de-energized in Dnipro region, 127 in Kharkiv region, 53 in Poltava, 24 in Zaporizhia and 14 in Kherson. 

Apart from that, according to the department, due to the sleet slush and gusty wind, it was recorded 2.5 thousand trees falling in Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipro regions.

At the same time, traffic jams in Dnipro region were eliminated with the use of heavy engineering vehicles of the State Emergency Service.

871 vehicle units and 2.7 thousand people were involved in the works, including 128 vehicles of the State Emergency Service and 444 of personnel.

Currently weather conditions in Eastern and Central regions stabilized, light rain occurs from time to time in Donetsk region.
