20 high-ranking Russian officials are also suspected in military crimes

28 Russian citizens were sentenced for war crimes. This was reported during press conference by Yuriy Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

"National courts in Ukraine brought 41 people to justice, among them 28 Russian citizens, 13 citizens-members of "DPR" and "LPR" terrorist groups. High-level suspects in military crimes include 20 high-ranking Russian officials," Lutsenko said.

He reminded that suspects list consist of Sergey Glazyev, the Russian presidential adviser,  Sergey Shoygu, the Russian Minister of Defence and his deputies, Nicolai Pankov, the head of the Russian General Staff, and other officers of the Armed Forces of Russia.
