Canada finished developing the agreement between the Defense Ministers of Canada and Ukraine and is now ready to sign it. This was announced by the Canadian Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan during the meeting with the Ukrainian vice-prime minister on European integration Ivanna Orestivna Klympush-Tsintsadze, reported by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko, according to the UkrInform news agency.
“Sajjan said that the work on the text of the agreement if completed by the Canadian side and now the Defense ministries shall actively search for the place and time to sign it,” – said the Ambassador.
The Ukrainian vice-prime minister on European integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze stressed that Canada approved the decision to prolong their military mission to Ukraine in the format most needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We got an absolutely clear signal that operation UNIFIER shall be continued in the format most needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
