Tusk's visit to Ukraine kicks off today

President of European Council will discuss EU and Ukraine relations, as well as visa liberalization issue

European Council President Donald Tusk's visit to Ukraine begins today, on September 28. He plans to discuss relations between the EU and Ukraine with Poroshenko and Groysman. The press center of the European Union delegation to Ukraine reports this.

"Today, at the invitation of the Government of Ukraine, the European Council President Donald Tusk will visit Kyiv. Tusk will meet with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday, September 29. The leaders will discuss the relationship between the EU and Ukraine, including process of visa liberalization, compliance with the Minsk agreements and the agenda of reforms in Ukraine", reads the statement.

It is also noted that Tusk will take part in a commemorative ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of the Babyi Yar tragedy on September 29 - one of the most mass shootings in the history of the Holocaust.
