President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine needs to start planning its path towards further integration into the EU today. The President told this during his meeting with the EU leaders, broadcasted by 112.UA Channel.
“Today we should start planning our path towards our dreams, because some 10 years ago an association agreement with the EU and visa-free travel were just a dream for many. Even a year ago most politicians here didn’t believe visa-free travel would be possible,” the President said.
“We are looking forward and today we discussed the possibility of a new long-term plan on supporting Ukraine, that was suggested at The European People's Party summit. It will be something like Marshall Plan for Ukraine,” Poroshenko added.
As it was reported earlier, the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement was ratified July 11.
