The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thinks that it is important to assume the joint measures with the European Union to take down the roaming charges between Ukraine and the European countries. Also, he noted the importance of the integration to the digital single market of the European Union. He claimed this at the press conference on the result of the meeting with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker within the Ukraine-EU Summit as the press service of the Ukrainian president reported.

‘I emphasize one more time the perspective of the creation of the conditions for the staged decrease of the roaming charge between Ukraine and the European Countries. I insist that it is very important to expand the human communication between citizens of Ukraine and European countries and create the single digital market’, Poroshenko said.

Earlier, Poroshenko claimed about the beginning of the negotiations with the authorities and leaders of the EU countries to abolish the roaming charge for the Ukrainians who travel in Europe.
