Poroshenko and Linkevicius, meeting in Kyiv
Presidential Administration of Ukraine

Lithuania has been long-standing active supporter of the EU-Ukraine visa free regime, territorial integrity and the stable ally of Ukraine, as the country deters Russian aggression in Donbas. President Petro Poroshenko said this during his meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius in Kyiv.

‘The sides discussed the latest developments in Donbas, specifically the recent attacks on Avdiivka by the Russian troops and militant forces and agreed on the necessity to implement full ceasefire. They also came to terms about the next steps to counter aggressive actions of Russia – first of all, extension of sanctions’, the presidential press service reported.
