Polish prime minister got in car crash, her condition is good

The spokesman informed that Beata Szydlo is in good condition

The photos from the crash site were made public. The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the southern town of Oswiecim. One can see from the pictures that after hitting the Fiat car, limousine with Polish Prime Minister drove into a tree. Szydlo was taken to the Warsaw hospital by helicopter for examination shortly after.

Her spokesman said she was in a "good condition," but she was brought to Warsaw hospital, 350 km away from the scene.

"Prime Minister Beata Szydlo is in good condition. She will undergo additional routine tests in Warsaw," government spokesman Rafal Bochenek said in a Polish tweet.

Poland's interior minister called an emergency meeting with the leadership of the Government Protection Office, which protects and drives Szydlo and other top figures. Meanwhile, prosecutors also opened an investigation on this occassion.

Szydlo was not badly hurt as a result of the collision, however one security guard was reported to have a leg fracture.
