PACE does not consider the expulsion of Russia, but maintaining the current status quo. At the same time the restrictions of this delegation regarding the right to vote and to participate in the governing bodies of the Assembly - are very logical. This position was expressed by Chairman of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE Volodymyr Ariev in an interview with "Radio Liberty".

"Because basically my colleagues are considering not throwing Russia out of the PACE but the preservation of the status quo. And also to limit their right to vote, the right to participate in election observation and participate in the governing bodies of the Assembly. All this is very logical" - Ariev said.

According to him, Russia is never going to compromise.

"You see, Russia is acting according to the principle" all or nothing", and in Europe, this approach is not perceived
at all. Because now in Europe people believe that the world is not just black and white, "- said the head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE.
