OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier has called for an immediate ceasefire in Donbas. It is reported by the press service of the OSCE.

"Civilians, as usual, bear the full brunt of the last battle. In addition to deaths and injuries, thousands of civilians are trapped without food and heating. I urge the parties to consider the fate of captured civilians and their security priorities. They should cease hostilities immediately and respect fully the ceasefire and Minsk agreement, - Zannier said.

Earlier Special Monitoring Mission of OSCE called the sides of the conflict to stop advancing in Avdiivka region. This was reported by the head of the SMM OSCE in Ukraine Alexander Hug during the briefing.
