One Ukrainian citizen with biometric passport was denied entry to the EU as he had exceeded the permitted number of days on the EU territory. This was reported by Oleh Slobodyan, the State Border Guard Service (SBGS) officer, in a commentary to 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"Ukrainians who took advantage of the visa-free regime, reached their destination except for one citizen. He was denied entry due to the fact that he had exceeded the permitted number of days in Denmark, and, accordingly, he was temporarily barred from entering the territory of the European Union because of this," Slobodyan informed.

Assistant to the Head of SBGS added that all other citizens crossed the border with European countries without any problems.

It was also reported earlier that 600 Ukrainian travelers have crossed border with the EU without visas.

Ukrainian people can take advantage of visa-free regime and travel without difficulty through Europe starting from today.
