The Dutch government and the Parliament should take joint responsibility for the decision on EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Hanna Hopko, the Head of Ukraine’s Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs, said this during the interview with 112 Ukraine TV channel.
‘It is crucial that the government and the parliament take common responsibility, because the entire country should speak up. There is EU position, and the Netherlands, as the EU member country, should realize they’ve got to be playing in one team. Completing this process and granting the visa-free regime for Ukraine, as well as the extension of sanctions against Putin, are the signals that the EU supports peace in Ukraine,’ the official said.
