On the third anniversary of signing the decree to annex Crimea by Russian President, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite has once again commented on this issue. She wrote that "freedom may be occupied but not taken away" on her Twitter page.

"Freedom may be occupied but can never be taken away. Crimea is Ukraine," she noted.

As it is known, Lithuania is consistently supporting the position about territorial integrity of Ukraine, considering Crimean annexation and occupation of Donbas illegal.
