Germany invited Ukraine to hold meeting of Foreign Ministers in Normandy format

The summit may take place during G20 ministerial meeting in Bonn on February 16-17

Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs received an offer from Germany to hold the meeting of the Foreign Ministers in Normandy format soon. This was reported by “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“We are working with our German and French partners to make such meeting effective and make Russia finally carry out Minsk agreement,” the press service of Ukrainian MFA reported.

It was also noted earlier that the possibility of the mentioned summit during G20 ministerial meeting in Bonn on February 16-17 is being considered.

The Normandy contact group on resolving the situation in the East of Ukraine consists of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine.
