European Commission expressed its dissatisfaction to President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman regarding the delay with adoption of the bill to create transparent energy regulator, according to the letter written by Maros Sefcovic, the Vice-President of the European Commission, Economic Truth informs.
European Commission reminded that the adoption of the law regarding energy regulator is one of the measures allowing EU to provide following 600 million euro of financial support for Ukraine.
"It is, therefore, now important that the implementation of this important law starts without any further delay," the letter reads.
European Commission also mentioned "Rotterdam+" formula and doubted professionalism of the members of National Commission for state regulation in the energy and utilities.
"An analysis of these recent decisions by EU experts has shown that unfortunately the methodologies used do not fully correspond to best European practice."
