European Union is concerned with the situation in Eastern Ukraine. This was reported during the briefing on the results of EU Council session, broadcast by “112 Ukraine” TV channel, by Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

“EU will continue supporting Ukraine, focusing its attention on providing services for the people. We want to ensure people’s lives improvement and overall atmosphere in the country. This certainly requires a better security condition. The situation in Eastern Ukraine was the reason for our concern. When we refer to full implementation of Minsk agreement, we confirm the expectation that the fighting and hostilities will cease and the peaceful settlement process can be started effectively,” Mogherini said.
