A vice-prime minister on European integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said this to 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
"EU has to brace itself to make the right conclusions from those tendencies of the sceptisism and populism that have appeared in the UK referendum results", Vice Prime Minister said.
"We respect British citizens' decision, but Ukraine feels sorry for these events. To my mind this will weaken the EU and it will have to concentrate on its own problems", Klympush-Tsintsadze addded.
She stressed that the Brexit may slow down the relations between the EU and Ukraine. She hopes that the State will lose not more than weeks or several months, waiting for EU decisions on issues regarding Ukraine.
