This autumn European Union missions will visit Ukraine to evaluate country’s progress in visa-free issues, which would be reflected in the report of the European Commission, as posted the Mission of Ukraine to EU on its Facebook page. 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the European Integration Olena Zerkal met with Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) July 15, in Brussels. She spoke on the results of implemented measures and steps on visa regime liberalization plan.

Europeans expressed their appreciation of the efforts and voiced the hope that all scheduled procedures are to be completed on time during the meeting between Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the European Integration Olena Zerkal.

This autumn European Union missions will visit Ukraine to evaluate country’s progress in visa-free issues, which would be reflected in the report of the European Commission, as posted the Mission of Ukraine to EU on its Facebook page.

According to Mission of Ukraine, they also discussed preparations for peer review of Ukraine's progress, which should be reflected in the report of the European Commission on the implementation of the Action Plan. The peer assessment is to be held in autumn this year.
As previously reported, the EU Delegation to Ukraine assumes that the actual visa-free regime with Ukraine will take place within one or two months after the positive report of the European Commission on implementation of the second phase of Action plan.
