Ukraine's biathlon team won the bronze medal in the IBU Cup mixed relay race in the Estonian city of Otepää. This is reported by the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine.

The first place in the relay took Germany, the second became Norway. Our team fell behind the winners from the German national team by 39.9 seconds. The result of the Germans is 1 hour 14 minutes 34.6 seconds. 2nd place (the national team of Norway) - 20.8 seconds behind. The IBU Cup is the second most important tournament after the World Cup.

The national team of Ukraine included Vita Semerenko, Yana Bondar, Andriy Dotsenko and Ruslan Tkalenko. It is noted that the Olimian champion of Sochi-2014 Vita Semerenko held the first race after a three-year break.

As reported earlier, Ukrainian Yulia Dzhyma became the sixth in the sprint at the World Cup in biathlon.
