The Union of World Wrestling named Ukraine’s Zhan Beleniuk the world’s best Greco-Roman wrestler, based on his performance in the previous year.

‘I am grateful to the Union for claiming me the best wrestler in 2016; to everyone who helped me this year as well. I had to skip everything in 2017, but I’m planning to begin to return to the European and the entire world’s arenas next year. Thanks everyone who believes in me and supports me,’ Beleniuk posted on Instagram.
