Ukraine National team defeated the team of Belarus in the selection match for Euro-2016. Goals were scored yet in the first half. After first 30 minutes Yarmolenko scored a goal, an advantage over neighboring country team won Konoplyanka, who performed penalty shoot out. Belarus was able to answer only once. Before the game over thousands of Ukrainian and Belarusian fans took part in the joint marches, chanting "Belarus and Ukraine - forever!" "Glory to Ukraine", "Live Belarus!", Unian.
Fans of both teams had Ukrainian and Belarusian symbols; they kept a banner "Brotherhood. Conscience" ahead of the column. The common torchlight march started near Monument of Glory on Stryiska street and leaded to the stadium "Arena Lviv".
Many Belarusian fans wore red sweaters with the words "Thank you God, I'm not Russian". They also chanted "Together forever!" during the march, accompanied by drums, burned flares and smoke bombs.
