Ukraine lost in figure skating at Youth Olympics

Ukrainians were at the bottom of the final standings in single and pair skating

Two sets of medals in figure skating were drawn today in Lillehammer (Norway) during Youth Olympics 2016. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian national team athletes were at the bottom of the final standings, reported UNIAN.

In sport pairs competition Anastasia Pobizhenko - Dmitry Sharpar pair took the last 10th place. For their performance in free skating (long program), Ukrainians have earned 46.14 points, and the sum of short and long program were 74.30 points.

Earlier we informed that Ukrainian biathlete became the champion of Youth Olympic Games

Yekaterina Borisova and Dmitry Sopot from Russia became the champions in pair skating with 168.66 points score. Anna Duskova and Martin Bidar from the Czech Republic received silver medals. Alina Ustimkina and Nikita Volodin from Russia got bronze.

In the men's single skating Ukrainian Ivan Shmuratko was ranked 14th out of 16 skaters. His total score was 125.78. Japanese skater Sota Yamamoto became the champion with 215.52 points score.
