Ukraine gets 19th gold medal at Paralympic Games in Rio

Athlete Igor Tsvetov won another gold medal for Ukraine at the Paralympic Games in Rio. Youth and Sport Minister Igor Zhdanov wrote this on Facebook.

The result of Ukrainian on a distance of 200 m is 25.11. This is a new Paralympic record.

Note that previously Tsvetov has already won the gold at a distance of 100 meters.

This medal was the 50th award in a row at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro. Ukrainian team confidently holds the third position in the overall medal standings.

Recall that earlier Petro Poroshenko congratulated the Paralympic athletes on the outstanding performance over the first four days of the Paralympic Games in Rio.
