The UEFA Executive Committee has warned the two football associations that regardless of any decisions taken by the independent disciplinary bodies regarding the incidents inside the stadium, it did not hesitate to impose additional sanctions against the English Football Association (FA) and the Russian Football Union (RFU) - up to disqualification from the tournament teams, if such violence will start again.

UEFA urged fans to behave responsibly and respectfully.
