The first leg of the quarterfinals of UEFA Champions League fixture between Borussia Dortmund and AS Monaco was adjourned and will be played tomorrow. The reason was the explosion that thundered not far from Westfalenstadion in Dortmund, Germany. Eurosport reported that on Tuesday evening.

The blast was caused by a bomb set near the hotel where the home team was stationed. The incident took place several hours before the match kicked off. The local police reported that Borussia’s team bus had its window glass shattered; one man was wounded and taken to a hospital. According to Bild, the injured bus passenger could be defender Marc Bartra. However, Borussia’s administration says none of the players were harmed, and everyone is safe now.
