Paralympic team of Ukraine surprised and inspired many people in the country, and most importantly showed a new outstanding result, getting 117 medals, and this is a record. Our athletes became fourth in the total medal count both in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012. Ukrainians became third in the overall medal standings in Rio, leaving the US team behind.

155 athletes went to this year's Paralympics. Some of them came back with medals, set world and Paralympic records, fought and won. Not all were caught in the spotlight, but each is a winner.
