The Ukrainian leader congratulated the Paralympic athletes on the outstanding performance over the first four days of the Paralympic Games in Rio.

‘The performance of Ukrainian Paralympians is really unbelieveable; third place in the overall medal count after four days of competitions, and 49 medals in the chest’, Poroshenko posted at Facebook.

According to him, the Ukrainian Paralympic athletes have been daily proving that impossible is nothing.

Currently, the Ukrainian team possesses 49 awards; 18 of them are gold. On Sunday, September 11, all three medal places were occupied by Ukrainians in 200 m medley swimming event; Denys Dubrov, Maksym Kripak and Dmytro Vanzenko won all three medals.
