The short-lived incident took place in the seaport of Marseille as the national teams are getting prepared for the match of Round 3, which is also the final game for Ukraine’s squad at Euro 2016, Sport Arena says.

The fight didn’t last long, as the police intruded and used tear gas to disperse the opponents. One of the hooligans was detained (Football 24).

According to TSN, Ukraine’s TV news service, the Polish fans who apparently picked the fight, were the supporters of Polish football club Legia; their aggressive stance toward Ukrainian fans has been reported since Tuesday morning.
