Another day at Euro features four games, which will seal the fate of some of the contestants in groups E and F. Austrians, for one, need a victory over the national team of Iceland, otherwise they are eliminated from the championship. However, Iceland would be not happy with the tie, either, as they already played two draws in two matches. Another one will send them home. So one might expect it will be hot at Stade de France tonight.
Hungarians – surprisingly, leaders of Group F, after the win over Austria and a tie with Iceland – are almost in the round of the last 16. To make their positions stronger at this point, they need a victory over the Portuguese. The latter are naturally hurt and annoyed, due to having played two draws in a row and scoring only two points of nine possible.
In Group E, Squaddra Azzurra will stand against the Irish. Italians already proved their will to fight their way to the title and showed their skills in the first two games, which they won, thus becoming the winners in the group. As for the Irish, they need nothing but victory, which would make them runners-up in the group.
Swedes are to face Belgium, and it’s the same here – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his teammates will only rest comfortably if they defeat the tough opponent, who strongly relies on team chemistry and combinations. Any other scenario means Sweden’s loss and an early goodbye to Euro 2016, while the Red Devils would preserve their current position as runners-up.
