Kyiv city hall will spend 1 million U.S. dollars to cover the needs related to hosting UEFA Champions League final in 2018. The press service of Kyiv city council reported that on Wednesday.
‘According to the agreement, Kyiv took the responsibility to meet and host members of official delegations, and set the respective locations; this will cost 25 million Ukrainian hryvnas (1 million U.S. dollars),’ the city hall reported.
UEFA will take care of the rest of the expenditures.
The UEFA Congress decided that Kyiv’s National Sports Complex Olimpiysky will host the final game of UEFA Champions League in 2018; the decision was made in September 2016.
