Former heavyweight world champion, Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko still has no idea when and who he would face in his next fight. He said this in the recent interview with Inter TV channel, as quoted by boxingnews.com.ua.
‘It so happened that I became a challenger, the boxer who seeks to win a champion’s title. There’s no telling who, when and which belt it would be, because the contract has not been signed yet. But I hope the title fight will take place by the end of the year’, the Ukrainian said.
Previously, Klitschko’s team negotiated with IBF heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua. However, the Ukrainian’s promoters expect the ex-champion to challenge IBF and WBA titles both. It is currently vacant, now that Tyson Fury lost it after failing to pass the drug tests.
