Ukrainian professional boxer Olexandr Usyk will defend his title of Intercontinental champion by the WBO. This will be his fourth fight in Kyiv (hometown). He returns to the ring at the Palace of Sports, Kyiv.
Usyk is world ranked #2 by the WBO while Muller is ranked #15 by the same sanctioning body.
Usyk’s opponent is a rugged fighter, but he is not the first one to fight against Olexandr, among amateurs, WSB, and professional boxers. There is no doubt that Mueller would go ahead with the first seconds of the fight, but Usyk has some good techniques to fight against this kind of opponents.
Apparently, the battle will develop in the same scenario as the previous fights ofUkrainian southpaw – a short investigation, the gradual build-paced, intense fight and a knockout or technical knockout.
Olexandr Usyk is a professional boxer who won the 2008 European Amateur Boxing Championships at light-heavyweight, the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships at heavyweight and the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the heavyweight division.
Johnny “The Hurricane” Muller is former South Africa’s light-heavyweight champion; he is a fighter rather than a boxer.
