After a 3-0 victory over Volyn FC, Serhiy Rebrov, the head coach of Dynamo Kyiv answered a reporter’s question regarding further career of winger Andriy Yarmolenko, the leader of both Kyiv club and the national squad (dynamo.kiev.ua)

“Yarmolenko is our key player; but every player born and raised up in Ukraine wants to try his hand abroad – just like Neymar who was brought up in Brazil and tried to put himself to the test in Barcelona. You can’t just forbid a player to dream of playing in Europe’s leading teams. We need Yarmolenko, but the ultimate decision is within his competence, as well as that of the club’s President. If you want my opinion, I wouldn’t sell him”, Rebrov said.

Andriy Yarmolenko, Dynamo Kyiv’s No.10, captain and right winger, has been defending the colors of his current team since 2007. The Ukrainian playmaker previously expressed interest in continuing his career abroad. Earlier this year, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund negotiated with Dynamo on his possible transfer; however, the talks failed.
