Shakhtar Donetsk FC overpowered RC Celta Vigo in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League’s round of the last 32. Now it’s up to the teams to sort it out in the return leg, Shakhtar’s coach Paulo Fonseca says.
‘It was a tough game against a good opponent. We managed to defend well and to build our counterattacks in decent fashion. Had we scored once more, the game would really get cheekier. I’m fine with this victory, but lately, Celta gave in to no one but Sevilla. It’s all up ahead, nothing’s for sure yet in this fixture. We’ve got the return leg, and we have to prove our worth in it. In the second half of yesterday’s match, the home team played straighter; and that made us play in a different way, too. However, we managed to gather up and finish the job’, Fonseca stressed.
