According to the French edition lepoint.fr, the French secret service checked 3 500 guards that represent private security companies.

As a result of this test 82 employees were found registered in the database of people that could affect national security or commit a terrorist act. This base consists of individuals associated with extremist organizations.

About 85 thousand security guards will be employed during the Euro 2016.

Recall that due to the numerous terrorist attacks, some famous football figures urged UEFA to ensure the Euro 2016 matches will take place without any spectators.
