Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported about two victims of the fray, adding that Polish side started the fight.

Polish fans were sitting in a pub at Maidan Nazalezhnosti Square, Kyiv downtown, while Ukrainian fans were trying to come close to the Poles. The football fans used smoke bombs during the conflict. Police managed to haul the boys to the opposite sides of the street, but some people were wounded though.

One Polish fan was arrested by local police for attacking Ukrainian journalist.

A match between Legia Warsaw and Zorya Luhansk will be held this evening.

August 19 Ultras (are a type of sports fan renowned for ultra-fanatical support, occasionally to the point of violence and hateful chants and slogans) have been involved into two fights with Ukrainian football fans, one of which took place in Hydropark, Kyiv, and another one – in Lviv.
