More than 300 Orthodox Christians on foot will depart from the Donetsk region on July 3 to walk to Kyiv within the framework of the All-Ukrainian procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine. It is reported by Information Center of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Religious procession starts from Holy Assumption Monastery in the Donetsk region, the curator of the event is Archimandrite Joasaph (Kovetsky). According to him, the believers will walk about 700 kilometers with the miraculous icon of Svyatogorska  Mother of God and on July 27 will come to Kyiv.

"All the participants will be involved in the great ecclesial event and prayers to the Mother of God and to the Lord, which we believe, will help to establish peace and prosperity in Ukraine ", - said Archimandrite Joasaph.
