Market share of internet media advertising in Ukraine increased by 27% in 2015 – to 1.288 billion hryvnas comparing to the previous year. The share of direct sales totaled 40.95% in 2015, says the research of the Internet Association of Ukraine.
According to the research, shares of internet media advertising segments are distributed as follows:
- Banner advertising – 42.3%
- In-stream video (ads in video players pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll, pause-roll, overlay ad, picture-in-pause) – 31.6%
- In-page video (content-roll) – 8.4%
- Other advertising solutions (pop-up and pop-under ads, catfish and screenglide formats, frontlines, synchronized banners, audio advertisement in a digital stream, and etc.) – 9.7%
- Sponsorship – 8%
