Ukrainian helicopter crashed on the territory of the Slovak Republic, killing six people, as reported by noviny.sk.

The tragedy occurred in the east, on the border with Ukraine. It is possible that the helicopter crashed on Wednesday, as it had entered the airspace of Slovakia just the day before, but the accident was discovered only today.

Local news agencies report that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovakia considering that the helicopter belonged to smugglers, and it is not connected with the army or other security forces of Ukraine. Poow weather conditions were observed in the region during the last days, and the pilot of the helicopter could underestimate these factors.

The helicopter fell on Zemplinska Šírava reservoir, which is 35 km from Uzhhorod (western Ukraine). Slovak Minister of Internal Affairs Robert Kalinyak announced an extraordinary briefing on the matter.
