A car crashed into the passenger bus, which was on its way from Minsk, Belarus to Bukovel, Ukraine, - Belarusian Foreign Ministry

The road accident claimed lives of two people in Lviv region, western Ukraine. Another 12 suffered injuries. Belarusian Foreign Ministry tweeted that on Friday.


The tragedy occurred at the Lviv-Rogatyn highway at about 6.30 a.m. local time. A Mercedes ran into Neoplan, both of them with foreign license plates.

The car driver and the passenger, both of them citizens of Moldova, died instantly. Twelve of 42 bus passengers suffered injuries, as the bus drove down the ditch and rolled over.
