Ukraine’s Security Service, the SBU, will hold counter-terrorist exercises in southern Ukraine, not far from the administrative border with the Russian-occupied Crimea.

Viktroiya Shakula, the head of the press centre of the SBU’s regional branch, reported that as quoted by Krym.Realii.

‘These are merely regular drills that we conduct from time to time,’ she said.

The SBU asked local residents to keep calm and show understanding to the fact that the amassment of the military and special forces will be observed in respective inhabited areas.
