Representatives of the Russian elite actively bought American real estate in the buildings of US President Donald Trump, reports Reuters referring to the Orbis databases of Bureau Van Dijk company, about owners of apartments and realtors.

According to the agency, in the seven high-rise buildings in Florida, owned by Trump, at least 63 people with Russian passports bought their appartments. The total value of this property is at least $ 98.4 million. At the same time, owners of at least 703 of the 2,044 properties in the seven Trump buildings are limited liability companies. They do not indicate in the documents the names of real owners, hence, the agency concludes, the number of Russian homeowners may be different.

The agency claims that among the buyers of real estate were the former top manager of Spetsstroy Federal Agency Alexander Yuzvik, the president of Viking investment bank in St. Petersburg, Alexei Ustaev. In addition to them, regional politicians and businessmen also own appartments in Trump's buildings, as well as Andrei Truskov, co-owner of Absolute Group LLC, specializing in development, investment and wholesale of electronics.
