The road traffic for large-size vehicles in western, central and partially northern regions of Ukraine is limited. The press department of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported this on Monday morning. ‘Due to the heavy snowfalls, road traffic service in Lviv, Zhytomyr, Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions limited movement for the large-size vehicles,’ the governmental agency reported.
As of 8.30 a.m. Monday, rescue teams committed over 500 attendances to provide help in clearing the roadways from the downed trees and releasing vehicles from snow banks. Almost five thousand men and over two thousand vehicles were involved in rescue actions across the mentioned regions.
