This year, 120 volunteers from 40 countries came to the schools in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko summed up the year of the English language in Ukraine. This was reported on his page on Facebook.

"Foreign language opens new horizons for everyone who wants to be part of the modern world. The current project Go Global is extremely important, ambitious and successful for the Ukrainian people", Poroshenko said.

The President noted that this year 120 volunteers from 40 countries came to the schools in Ukraine.

"We opened the summer English-language GoCamp schools with an enrollment of 200 thousand children from all over Ukraine. It is particularly important that children from the occupied territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions were also able to learne and improve their English", said the Head of State.

Recall that a year ago Poroshenko declared 2016 the Year of the English language in Ukraine.
